Mr. Prevaux joined the Office as General Counsel in 2003 after 7 years with the Office of the General Counsel at the University of Florida where he served as the Senior Associate General Counsel and specialized in labor and employment law and cyber law issues. He has represented higher education clients in Florida since 1990, including service as Counsel to the former Florida Board of Regents in Tallahassee. He received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member and competition coach for the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court team and was inducted into the Order of Barristers. He began his legal career in private practice as a litigation associate with an AV rated labor and employment defense firm. Mr. Prevaux was recently a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) a not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Washington D.C. that advances the effective practice of higher education law. Mr. Prevaux is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator (Circuit Civil and County Court) and Certified Appellate Mediator. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts in addition to the federal district courts in the Northern, Middle and Southern districts of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Friedlander joined the Office of the General Counsel in September 1995. From 2001-2003, she served as Interim General Counsel engaging in all areas of legal practice undertaken by the Office. Currently, Ms. Friedlander is the primary counsel to USF Health: the College of Medicine, College of Nursing, College of Public Health and School of Physical Therapy. In Arkansas, Ms. Friedlander's practice included: counsel to the Arkansas Legislature; 11 years in the Arkansas Attorney General's Office specializing in civil litigation, civil rights, employment law. redistricting and constitutional law; Chief of Staff to the Attorney General; Arkansas Solicitor General; significant lobbying experience before the Arkansas Legislature; Legislative Advisor to the Governor; Utility Law at the Arkansas Public Service Commission; and Arkansas Director of Juvenile Services from 1993-1995. Ms. Friedlander is admitted to practice in Arkansas' federal and state courts, the Eighth and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals, Florida state courts, the Middle District of Florida, and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Lavandera joined the USF Office of the General Counsel in 1993, having previously served as a prosecuting attorney (Bureau Chief) with the Hillsborough County State Attorney’s Office. He is admitted to practice in all state courts of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, and the Federal Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits. Mr. Lavandera is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and has served two terms as the Chair of that organization’s Criminal Law Section. He is presently an Adjunct Professor in the USF Department of Criminology.

Gerard D. Solis is the Senior Associate General Counsel at the University of South Florida representing and advising the University primarily in labor and employment matters and research and compliance issues. Before joining USF, Mr. Solis lived and worked in Japan and was an associate with a Tampa labor and employment firm. Mr. Solis earned his B.A. with honors from Kenyon College and received his J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a member of the Holderness Moot Court Bench.

Ms. Pritts joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2006, after working in private practice in the areas of labor and employment law since 2000. Ms. Pritts is a member of the Florida Bar and the Georgia Bar. She is admitted to practice in the state courts of Florida and Georgia, and in the federal courts of the Eleventh Circuit, the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida. While in law school, Ms. Pritts was an Articles Editor of the Georgia Law Review. She is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Order of the Coif.

Colin joined the Office of the General Counsel in the fall of 2006. Previously, Colin served as partner of a boutique technology law firm, LawTech, LLC, in Jacksonville, FL from 2001-2006 where he represented some of the largest companies in Florida in their technology procurement transactions as well as many technology oriented businesses and vendors. Colin is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the courts of Florida. Colin has also served as an adjunct faculty member of Florida Community College of Jacksonville teaching Legal Research and Writing, Intellectual Property and Business Law.

Ms. Adamchak joined the Office of the General Counsel in 2003. She is a former Pennsylvania District Court Judge. During her tenure on the bench, Ms. Adamchak was appointed the Bucks County Violence Prevention Task Force where she worked extensively in the areas of domestic violence and truancy prevention. Prior to her election to the bench, Ms. Adamchak was in private practice in Princeton, New Jersey as a litigation and land use attorney. She then served as a prosecutor for the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, Economic Crimes Unit, specializing in the investigation and prosecution of white collar crimes and as a prosecutor in the Tampa State Attorney's Office. Ms. Adamchak is a member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida Bar(s).

She also spent five years as an attorney with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition in Washington, DC.
